I've had it with Comcast like many others here. We are paying double what customers on the street over with FiOS pay. Every street has (including our beckyard neighbor) it except for the eight houses on our block.
Just over two years ago we got a call back telling us there were plans to upgrade the lines in our street within 12 months to FiOS and it never happened. That was in April of 2010. What's the deal?
At this rate, Google fiber will be available here quicker and we'll probably just give up and grab that if it ever does. Why is it so difficult to install 500 yds. on one last street?
