What's 17.97 worth to Verizon?

I just got off the phone with customer service when I noticed my bill was little higher then normal and saw that they were charging me 5.99 for their Internet Security "feature" which I thought was part of my bundle.  The rep I spoke with first told me that my bundle included this for one year and will look into my issue.  Five minuates later I was told she that the bill is correct.  I try to inform her that I didn't want this feature but the rep that place my order originally said it's free and I didn't have to use it.  The feature has been removed but they couldn't credit me the 17.97 and advised that I should look at my bill more carefully next time.

I've had problems with verzion since I signed up from my appointments being cancelled, installer refusing to drill a hole to run a wire into one of the rooms, not wanting to put the battery backup in the basement, and the kicker overcharging me 300 dollars on my first bill which they were willing to do without question but 17.97?  Woooo we can't do that.

Guess the 17.97 is worth more to verizon then having me as a customer.

if it is that big of a deal, call back, and ask to speak with a supervisor in Billing... I am sure if you are nice and calmly explain the issue, you may get your 18 dollars credited

It's more of the principle of the whole thing.  I originally asked not to sign up for the Security Suite but the rep insisted that since it's free there is no harm in adding this service.  I'm going to call back in a day or two and hopefully a supervisor willing to help me out.
