Last night, I lost almost all of my TV channels. Like a good girl, I followed the instructions on the screen, called a dedicated phone number, and punched in long lists of numbers on my phone. Then I held for almost an hour. While holding, I unplugged and replugged the STB, and also rebooted about four times. I also read two newspapers. Eventually, I gave up and called the regular Verizon service number, where I immediately heard a recording saying that there was a channel outage in my area. TV was back to normal this morning.
What's wrong with this picture (aside from my not having had sense enough to call that number in the first place)?
