Will my internet or phone service be cut off temporarily if I change my plan?

I currently have standard messaging rate phone service (minimum $15.80 a month) and 768kbps internet service ($14.99 a month).
I want to upgrade to Verizon Double Play which is:
Verizon Freedom Essentials
Call Forwarding
Caller ID
Call Waiting
Home Voice Mail (Call Forwarding not included)
Three-Way Calling
Call Forwarding - Busy/Don't Answer
Verizon Call Assistant
Bundle Faster Plan
1.5 to 3 Mbps
$64.99 a month
So I am wondering, during the time that I am waiting for the plans to change, will my internet or phone service be down for a while? If so, how long?
I live in Queensbridge, Queens, NY if that matters.

If you're not actually changing your phone number or type of internet service -- sounds like you're just bundling and choosing a package with more features), then this is all done on the central office end and it doesn't impact your service -- your billing just changes and you pickup the extra features as soon as they are provisioned automatically.
