Well I have been folowing the WSOP for months. Was really looking forward to tonite, it was the final night of the event. The show was scheduled for 2 hours. Set the DVR to record the show. when it got down to 3 hand the show was cut off at exactly 2 hours. I had to go look it up on the web site to see who won. I am so **bleep** OFF right now! How do you guys mess something like this up??? If the show was 2 hours and 30 min, why did it not show up that way in the guide and record the full show? If I pull this kind of bonehead move at work I would be fired!

That wasn't Verizon's fault. The WSOP final was scheduled for 2 hours according to the guide. YOur recording set up did EXACTLY what you told it to do...record that show in that time slot. Since the show went longer than the time slot the lack of recording was not the fault of Verizon. BTW, that was not a live show. You could have known the winner the night before since they actually played at 10pm Monday night. 🙂

The guide data is provided by FYI Inc and is not good data at all. Verizon recently ran a survey about the guide data and i believe there were a lot of forum users who filled out the survey and pushed to have the company replaced.
