I am running verizon's security suite and the spyware and viruses scans show no infection.
the malware program scan shows the infection and when I try to clean it it will remove the icon from my desktop but not from the system tray.
then when I restart the icon returns to my desktop all the while these infection warnings pop up every 2 to 3 minutes
I am not too computer savey and I am not sure I understand your removal proccess.

If you're not comfortable performing a manual removal of the files and folders, you can download the removal tool for the Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger here.
