I received an email from Verizon last week informing me that there were potential savings to be gained by contacting a member of their sales team. Since my 2 year contract was up I figured great, lets see what they can do. This was nothing more than a ploy to sell me on additional products/services. I contacted the Fios group and was told not only can I not save any money with a new contract, my bill was going to increase $10 a month starting in June. I then tried to see if there was any savings available from the Wireless end and the sales rep tried to push a higher priced package on me. While my wife have a generous bundle, $330+ a month is ridiculous. You don't want to lower my package price, fine, but don't try to bait me into spending an hour on the phone to sell me on adding services. I will be giving Xfin*** a call this week.
