What would happen if we don't pay our bills until Verizon tells us how much it owes us in unauthorized charges? It's been two months now, and Verizon hasn't even acknowledged missing its own deadlines.

They would probably cut off your service. That's generally what companies do when you don't pay your bill.
Have you called and asked them for the information?

I don't know, but I'm dying to find out. Why not try it and report back (by regular mail of course, since if you refuse to pay your bill you will not have Internet access)?
