A person from our rural area became an agrigator and started the dsl request process. Saw some activity over the past few years in regards to updating the comm equipment that services the 2 or 3 mile area. New pad poured - new equipment installed - fiber run to the location.
That was 4 months ago.
Now when we call Verizon - they have no record of dsl being available. Cant tell us the number of people who signed up via the BFRR (which we know exceeds the required number). Have no idea when it will be available.
We live in an age where were send space probes to Jupiters moons, we've built a particle accelerator that is capable of generating electricity from the sheer velocity of the electron and we have an african american as our president... but I cant get anything other than dial up at my house which is 3 miles from the central office.
If verizon wasnt the only gig in town where I could get high speed I'd tell them to {please keep your posts courteous}
