I use to have port forwarding working last year with Genie Go using the configuration site http://192.168.1.1. It stopped working on its own but I never had a need for it so didn't worry about it. Then I tried to get it to work during Verizon strike but caller transferred me to a number that hung up on me. So tried again yesterday and now they are saying I must pay someone $40 to see if my ports are open. I am very frustrated with Verizon. Has anyone else had success setting up Genie Go with Direct TV

I had called Xfinity to verify they help with port forwarding without extra charges and was about to go online to order when I noticed the IP address on my router changed. So I tried again with the new IP address and everything is working now.
