I just replaced my old DSL modem with the Westell 7500. Initially my regular PC -Ethernet connection- worked fine and my wireless did not. After some troubleshooting I got wireless to work and registered it with Verizon. Now my Ethernet connection to my main PC stopped working. I get the dreaded 678 error.
ANY SUGGESTION ON WHAT TO DO?
Thanks!

How are you trying to connect to the Internet? Are you trying to set up a PPPoE connection on your PC by any chance? Error 678 is generally associated with these things. You do not need to use PPPoE to connect the DSL, as that would be the Westell 7500's responsibility since it is a router at heart and can do PPPoE on it's own. You only need DHCP to connect to the Internet given this. Figured I'd point this out just in case
Otherwise, when connecting the PC to Ethernet, do you get any indication that it can at least connect to the Router? Does the Ethernet Light light up on the Westell, and the PC show a connection to Local Area Network being active?
