A week to process?

Message 1 of 1

Hi. I upgraded my residential service on the 1st from a very old starter plan (768 kbps down at $23.99 a month, VERY OLD plan), to the new power plan of 3mbps down at $29.99 a month. The order confirmation email that I received stated that my service would be activated on the 1st, however when I checked my order status today, I found that order with a 75% completion percentage and a 'due date' of the 7th. Since I'm only upgrading connection speed with no new hardware on a line that's been Verizon for years now, should this really be taking a week to process? I'm imagining this upgrade is similar to flipping a switch, and that's why I'm wondering why this will take a week. No complains really, just some impatience at the excitement of such a vast speed increase.
