I'm not sure where this goes, but I have a question. Verizon has continuously sent me e-mails and ads through the mail telling us to get Verizon DSL for a good 2 years or so now. According to their site, our lines qualify for it, but they always fail to tell us that we're too far from the CO to get service. Do they do anything to expand their services to rural areas like mine, so that we can get it? Where I live, our only choices are dial-up, which I'm on, and satellite, which wasn't very good.
I am in the same boat, I live 10 miles away from a small city were a friend has this DSL through the phone line and yet it is not availible in my area??????? I have Verizon landline phone service as well BUT no dsl?
