I am wondering if Verizon offers a modem with a wireless router built in? I would like to know if I could exchange my current modem for one without having to upgrade my service to something more expensive.
Right now I have the basic Verizon dsl service with the westell 6100g modem. Any help on this would be appreicated.
I know this doesnt answer your question specifically but you can probably get one at the store.
We had a Westell until the cat decided to chew thru the power cord and verizon would not send us a new cord, only a new modem and charge us full price! Instead I went to Best Buy and got a nicer modem (and it was cheaper than what verizon wanted), and it was pretty much plug n play. Its not wireless but has the router built in. Its an Actiontec GT724R in case you wanted to know
