I configured my Westell Router to allow computers to connect to it wirelessly, using WPA2.
When ever I turn on my computer, it always asks for password to connect to this network, and I type in the WPA Shared Key.
Now, I have been struggling to connect my printer (Lexmark X6650) to this same router for more than an hour.
I run the printer installation wizard, it displays the SSID of the wireless network the computer (Windows XP) is connected to, and asks for WPA Passphrase, for which I enter the same WPA Shared Key.,
Then, it goes through the steps of
1) Configuring Printer
2) Resetting Printer
3) Connecting to Wireless Network
It fails at step 3.
Do note, I disabled Wireless MAC Authentication.
Any ideas?

Almost definitely sounds like a Firewall issue on the laptop. Make sure your Firewall is allowing File and Printer sharing, and also ensure you do not have two firewalls enabled!
