Can't Connect DSL -- May Lose Sale Of House

I had Verizon DSL service for over 15 yrs at my house.

I moved out and put it up for sale ($890,000), cancelling the service.

I now have a buyer, but they want DSL because there's no clear satelllite view and no cable service.

They will cancel the contract if they cannot get DSL.

I've called 6 times over the past 33+ days, and each support person said they will contact the Central Office and get back to me as soon as possible.

No one called me back. Zero. Nada. Nyet.

The realtor escalated it to {edited for privacy}Supervisor – Network Engineering/Ops, who said there is a serious problem with their ordering system that may take awhile to resolve unless I file a formal complaint.

There apparently is no formal complaint process.

I filed one with the FCC this morning.

I don't know where else to go or how to get someone to listen.

I have a LOT of money riding on this.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.

Please go to your profile page here on the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.

To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".

Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
