DSL, I keep losing my connection

I have had a problem with my DSL since last week. Thats when I installed it . I keep calling Verizon and they run me through the same checks everytime. I've been on the phone and online with them for countless hours. They said they'd send a technician to resolve this . I got 2 voicemails saying  they're working on it. No one has actually called me though. I'm about ready to pull my hair out. I lose the connection off and on all day. Anybody else have this problem and how did it get resolved if at all.Please help. If they tell me 1 more time to turn off the modem and turn it back on again I'll scream. I should'nt have to do that all the time.
