I been having a problem for about two months with my Verizon DSL service. I am constantly being disconneted from the internet. It seems hit or miss when I can get online. The other day my internet was up for about one hour out of the entire day and was disconnected the rest of the time. I have called Verizon tech support several times and was told that I need to reset my modem and my internet should work. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have reset the modem, restarted the computers, unplugged everything and plugged it back in. Still doesn't fix the problem. We had a tech out to the house a couple weeks ago because we were getting our neighbors phone calls - our phone would ring when they got a call, then we couldn't use the phone or internet at all. He fixed the line cross and ran a new phone line into the house from the pole and installed a new box. We thought that would fix the problem, but it hasn't. I don't know what the problem is but this is the first time in 5 years we have had a problem with our DSL disconnecting for no reason. Any help on what to do or how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
I'm running a Westell model 327W

Your Transceiver Statistics are just fine. Could you provide your modem logs for us to see? They might clue into where the problem is since it could be either a physical DSL drop or it could be a PPPoE session drop.

OK, what I see there looks to be nothing out of the ordinary for a modem reboot. The next time your connection acts up, visit the same log again, but do not reboot your modem. Every reboot of the modem clears the log.
