For the last two weeks or so, my DSL connection has been barely responsive. Once a connection is made to a remote site, it begins working fine. DSL reports (after the first SLOW test) does report the speeds are pretty close to what they have always been. Has Verizon done any work in the Western Massachusetts area? Any ongoing issues...?
I am using a Westell 2200 modem and this slow response time exists even when the PC is hooked up directly to the modem bypassing the router.
I have also unplugged the only other device plugged into my phone line which is filtered and this made no difference.
