DSL in the evening

Anyone having problesm with DSL connectivity in the evenings?  Every flippin' nihgt, at about 8:00 PM (give or take) my DSL goes out and I can't connect until morning - so far, Verizon has been unable to help...looking at other vendors now...

Does this problem seem to correlate with any noise on the phone line, such as 60Hz Humming or Static? Does it seem to correlate with street lamps turning on?
