Extremely angry about High speed internet & D-link 2750b modem

Look verizon technical support. Ever since I have had your service I have NOT had one day go by without this D-LINK 2750b modem completely dropping my connection 2-3 times a day for at least several minutes each time.  I already spoke to support over the phone a couple times. I have sent one d-link modem back to you and was told there would be no charge. Well the "NEW" d-link does the same **bleep** thing. On top of that my online bill is not up to date as there has been a payment from me since the date shown on bill. Plus the online bill shows a unreturned equipment fee of 99$ for this piece of **bleep** modem that was sent back. I want a different modem, westell, actiontech, anything besides this d-link to see if that helps. If I don't get this resolved I will drop Verzion and NOT pay any current bill for anything ever!!

 

Take a look at this d-links system log when I log into the modem via webpage. This isn't showing all the times it when down right now because the log overwrites itself.

We have the exact same problem Craig. We had a nice Ationtec router that we bought, and everything worked fine. We added DirectTV Genie and it wouldn't connect to the internet. We spent hours on the phone with tech support at both places and Verizon ended up shipping us the 2750B piece of crap. Now every week, at least 3 times a week I have to completely restart the router. I lose connection sporadically throughout the week with no explanations. It is nearly impossible to stream on demand programs.

 

If we had any other TV/Phone/Internet options where I live, we'd have kicked Verizon to the curb long ago!

Keep us posted if you get any results.

 

I continually get tech support dudes in India or Sri Lanka that want to do nothing but remotely connect to my network/machines. Um - NO.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.

Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.

To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".

Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
