I was just wondering....is Verizon home service required to have DSL service? I never use my home phone and would like to scrap it if I don't need it.
Thanks!

Um, I was told that in order for me to get a data only dry loop I would have to have a phone installed as well then after 30 days I would cancel the landline service and retain the dry loop. Funny thing is I already HAD a dry loop, but was wanting to change the name on the account due to the holders death. Ended up leaving the thing in the deceased name and keeping everything I had, otherwise all my Verizon items (email accounts, etc) would have to be deleted and changed to different ones in the process.
