This package is only supported on Fedora Core release 5.
How to install and build the open source package
You should have the following files:
& A90-750015_toolchain.tar.bz2
& A90-750015_V5_00_00_03.tar.bz2
As root cd to /opt and install A90-750015_toolchain.tar.bz2 as follows:
& tar &xvjf A90-750015_toolchain.tar.bz2
From your working directory install the source as follows:
& tar &xvjf A90-750015_V5_00_00_03.tar.bz2
To make the source package execute the following commands:
& cd SW
& make PROFILE=A90-750015
The resulting upgrade file &app.upg& can be found at SW/targets/A90-750015
This upgrade file can be applied from the modem&s GUI upgrade page.

#1 Why are you trying ti upgrade it?
#2 What info is at 192.168.1.1/htmlV/transtat.asp ?
#3 When you go to Advanced -> Firmware Upgrade I believe you are given the option of the router checking for more up to date firmware and it can upgrade it self.

If you have not already, try to isolate if it is inside wiring by connecting directly to the NID and rechecking those stats to see if they get any better.
As to what a NID is, I point to

Ever since getting DSL with Verizon. I've always checked on the Westell 750015-07 firmware on Westell's website. Just like with Routers, I always want to make sure I'm with the latest firmware. When trying to upload the v5.1.0.2 fimware to my Westell. I get a error page/can't display page. I'm guessing that Verizon is the only ones that can release firmware for their supported devices. I don't know if I'm wrong. I'm using v5.0.0.4 right now and have been this whole year. I just want to keep up with the latest firmware.
