I am a Verizon residential phone service customer, who is planning to subscribe to Verizon's basic 1 Mbps DSL service. Since I back-up all my pop3 email using a program called MozBackup, I naturally want to continue using a Mozilla email client. My question is: What are my options if any?

Thanks.
I hope you mean that Verizon supplies the email services, and that they provide the standard Post Office Protocol (POP) that works with Outlook and Thunderbird and I guess all email clients. Not plain web mail or IMAP.
POP incoming
SMTP outgoing
