Installation Date Help

I ordered Verizon Hi-speed internet exactly 2 weeks ago, the installation date was due on September 30,2009 however due to some unexpected problem or because I was never informed, the techs had to be in my house to install the internet.  So I missed their arrival, called up the number left on my answering machine and a CSRmade a new appointment a week later! For this upcoming tuesday the sixth.  However when I told the CSR I could only be there at 3:30 or after, because like alot of people I work a regular 7-3 job monday through friday, she replied that the techs would be there possibly at 3:30 if they had time, so it's not even a certainty 2 weeks after I paid for my service!  To add futher insult to injury I received a telephone message on friday stating my internet would be installed the sixth from 8-12!!

I've emailed verizon three times without a response; I hope a rep can answer me here and ensure that my internet will be installed on the sixth!

Thank you,

Mason W.

dispatches are 8-12 or 1-5 normally... you may be able to contact Verizon and get a "self install kit", since it is DSL...  that is a MAYBE, as i do not know all the ins and outs of DSL now-a-days, and do not know your situation either...

as with the previous install date, if you are not there, it would not be installed

if need be, reschedule for a day that you or someone over 18 can be available

That's why I'm so upset, I did order a self-install kit(if you mean the modem and cd kit); I received it three days after I ordered DSL and I did set up a time when i would be home; yet verizon has seemed to without my consent changed my time and ignore any requests to ensure despite plenty of notice to ensure that they will be there at the availabile and scheduled time.  Go figure, I would say to anyone who is a prospective buyer to IGNORE Verizon and go with a better interet service. Because you may have to wait one week, two weeks, or in my case likely a month to receive what you paid for! And by that time, if you are dissatsified with your actual internet service, you'll most likely have to pay 70 dollars to cancel it!
