I am trying to find out how many GB I use per month on my home computer... anybody know how to find that out?

You need a bandwidth monitor.  Do an internet search for "bandwidth monitor" and check the results to see if any meet your needs.  Add "free" to the search if you  want one you don't have to pay for.
