The DATA light on my Model 6100G Modem for DSL, Is it suppose to blink? Every once in a wile my Internet disconnects so. Do you think that is the problem?

#1 Be online.

#2 Check the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS Server(s) on your computer.

If you are on Vista, see as need be

http://www.ncsu.edu/resnet/windows/ipconfig/vista.php

#3 Is the IP Address on your computer the same or different from the IP Address as shown at http://www.whatsmyip.org/ ?
