I have not been a Verizon broadband customer for several years, but my e-mail account is still active {edited for privacy}. I am trying to make changes to my hotmail account, but Microsoft will not allow me because an MSN Premium account from Verizon is still associated with that account. How can I close my old Verizon e-mail account?
I tried using this link to change the msn link, but it seems not to be effective when you click submit:
https://www.verizon.net/central/vzc.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=vzcp_switch&frommat=true&txtype=swi...tchoice=MSN
Thanks,
Steve

Short of calling verizon, I don't think you can delete your account unless it is a sub-account. But, you can change the association from MSN to something else. Go to verizon.net, log into your accout, select my My Account from the top navigation, then click on "Change" next to the Online experience and select something other thatn MSN.
That should break the link between verizon & msn which would allow you to make the changes to MSN.
Good luck.
