We've been without service for a couple weeks awaiting new hardware after a lightning strike. New DSL modem just flashes green on the dsl light. From most of the posts I see here that indicates the modem doesn't see the dsl service. I get the same result with a Westell one a friend had new in box. I also get the same thing at the NID. Verizon is supposed to dispatch a tech, but I've got no idea when.
Is it possible because my line was idle for 10-12 my port was switched/disconnected? Anything else I can try?
