Occasional Loss of Internet - dsl or router problem?

Every night while working on my laptop I lose my Internet connection. I have to go back up to my network icon and manually connect to my network. Often times I have to do this 4-5-6 times before I'm able to reconnect to my network and get back online. Is this a problem with my wireless router or is this a common dsl issue? I've had dsl for a few years and only recently (last 2 months or so) have experienced this problem.

You are not alone- for the past 2 months my DSL line has been very frustrating to the point where I am switching to cable.  Tech support has not been able to provide any meaningful help despite their good efforts.  The connection gets dropped all the time and I am being bounced between 2 sets of IP addressed on the 93.xx.xx.xx and 73.xx.xx.xx networks.

Also, my OS X system logs complains all the time about bad DNS relay hosts, which are the IPs of the DNS servers provided by the PPoE server.
