Problems with billing

I have been a loyal Verizon customer for years. Recently, we did not have service since December 4th 2017 unitl January 29, neither phone nor internet due to a huge copper cable replacement. I had to purchase expoensive hot spot internet in the meantime, lost many customers since the phone number is on my business cards. I was given $180 credit which dissapered??? Now it looks like I have to pay for the months I did not have any service. I was also charged years ago for a rouer that I retuned but they lost it plus some fees, basiclaly predatory. What am I supposed to do. I still like Verizon, Please help, anyone.

Hey there!

Did you have a trouble ticket open during the period of time your phone service was out? Billing agents should be able to see that and refund the amount of money that you'd otherwise be charged for having no service. I'd give Verizon a call sometime early in the morning, as I find I have the best luck calling Billing around then.
