i am developing software and occasionally need to use the smtp server from the software. I get an error that the SMTP server requires authentication. i have checked and double check my credentials and have stated to verizon that this is not on my end. They however are persistantly looping through my outlook with remote access and eating hours of time on the phone. I am so frustrated about this. I have even talked to supervisors after an hour to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
