Setting Time Limits on Router

Hi all.  I would like to block my daughters ipod from accessing our router from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am on the weekdays, and am not sure how to create the rule using the router.  If I make the rule from 10 pm to 7 am, the rule spans midnight.  Is the router "smart enough" to know the rule encompasses two days, or do I need to make two rules?  thanks.

1. Open a web browser and type: 192.168.1.1

2. enter username and password to enter the main menu of the router

3. At the top of the page click where it says Parental Control

Step 1. Select the Networked Computer/Device for this Allow or Block Rule

4. Under Networked Computer/Device select device you want to limit access ( you might have to wait for the device to be connected to the router to see it)

    A. click add to add device

Step 2. Create the Parental Control Rules and Schedules

5. Select Blocking ALL Internet Access

6. Select Days and time you want to limit access

7. Create Rule Name and Description

Step 3. Click the Apply button to save and apply your settings

I only see an option to restrict a website.  I don't see a drop down menu for all internet.  Any ideas?

Hi,

Months ago, i set up time limits on my router. Now I want to adjust them and can't make it work. I don't know what user name and password are required. They are not the regular Verizon ones.

Seems like it was something about the various numbers on the router, but I can't recall. Verizon help says the defaults are "admin" and "password," but those do not work.

Can anyone guide me through supplying the correct user name and password?

Thank you.

I had the same problem with the user name and password. I had to use the user name and password on the bottom of the modem. the user name was still Admin, but there was a code for the password.
