I have printed entire 186 page users manual for Versalink Westell 7500 modem. It say, in section 9, that after logging on to the Versalink firmware page, one should set up an account profile for the modem to work properly. However, the Verizon Techs, when helping me set up the modem never mentioned this. Is it necessary to set up the account profile with login name and password given by Verizon for the DSL account? Thanks
