Slow connection - pages won't load.

For the past five days, my internet connection has been slow to nonexistent. When I tried calling Verizon for assistance yesterday, I was transferred between a handful of people who didn't do anything beyond ask me the same repetitive questions for an hour, so I eventually gave up on calling altogether. I reset the router dozens of times, but it's not making much of a difference.
It says that I have four bars (though I should have five from where I'm sitting), but websites won't load. What's going on here?

Do you see a problem with the connection plugging into one of the Ethernet ports on your router? Are you by any chance located in the Northeast and are seeing problems with particular websites?
