I just used Verizon Service Checking for the first time. It looks good, except that it said I have an error for "Internet & Security". When I hit the "fix" button I was lead to a site that promoted Verizon's anti-virus package which of course isn't free. I already have protection from Avira, which recently got a "high" rating from Consumers Reports. Is this whole thing a scam or what??
My advise/two cents: Do not uninstall Avira and install that stuff.
