Very slow connection speed

I have the verizon wireless modem/router GT704WG and for the past few days I have been experiencing abysmal connection speeds. It seems that it happened all the sudden and I'm very puzzled as to why. I have checked all my physical connections, scanned for viruses, and have Norton 360 protection for a firewall on my machine and my speed tests still come out about .23 mbps. My plan is the 3mbps down/768k up. I live in southern illinois, any word of verizon working on the DSL lines here to explain the slow speeds?

Post your modem status fron the modem.

No indea of what I mean by this, show the first screen that you see in your modem combo - after you log-in to it.

I live in S IL also and recently my speed has went down also. I was wondering same thing, WHY?  I find out anything , I will post back what I find out!
