I've recycled the modem several times, but no dice. Keep getting around .3 mbps.
I'm signed up for the 3mpbs service. This is not the first time sine then that my connection has been WAY below promised speed. If Verizon doesn't get their act together fast, I'm switching over to Comcast. Enough of this **bleep**.

#1 What is the brand and mdoel of this modem?
#2 If you have a router, what is the brand and model of it?
#3 What software firewall is on your computer?
#4 Do you have at least two computers behind this modem?

This could be something on your home LAN and not on Verizon's end. If it were a problem with Verizon's equipment it wouldn't persist for more than a fraction of one day; if they neglected that kind of thing they'd be out of business.

Wow you are really experiencing slow internet, has the weather over there been bad ? As in cold & windy or rainy weather ? Maybe its your copper wires, I would call Verizon to notify them about this and see if they can help you.

Well I finally recycled it this morning and it's back to 1mbps, FAR below my promised speed. This is the last straw. I've already ordered Comcast to be installed this coming week. Sorry Verizon, you blew it.
