When I started my internet browser today, I got an automatic download from Verizon for the newest VZ in-home agent. I went ahead and let it download and install. After doing so, Malwarebytes immediately warned me that the backdoor.bifrost trojan had infected my computer and it was located in the folder for this new Verizon software.
Is this software truly infected with a trojan or could this be a false positive from Malwarebytes?
I'm really surprised that this has received no responces.
