connect !!

I dont know I cant use ethernet yellow cable connect to my laptop... When I use ethernet yellow cable connect DSL modern. it show all green night on it...but I cant recevied many signal...But it work on USB line...

Many know why it happened?

click on your xp start menu go to run and type devmgmt.msc

when you get the device manager open, check under network adapters and make sure your NIC is recognized in the system and installed properly (it will NOT have a red question mark or yellow exclamation mark if it's installed properly) 

if it's ok in there, then follow these next steps, and let us know what happens. 

• Using the ping command to test the connection between your computer and the router or gateway
• Using the ping command to verify your Internet connection

The modem can only use USB OR Ethernet at any given time. Reboot your modem after plugging in the Ethernet cable, and you should be able to connect. If that doesn't work, follow the advice above to make sure Windows can see your Network Adapter.
