dsl problems

hi

customer of verizon dsl for 5+ yrs here.

i switched from the 3mbps to the 1 mbps because i noticed that

my internet connection was far less than the advertised 3 mbps so

why not save a few bucks and just go for the 1 mbps.

bad decision, the only time i get decent speeds is only in the morning and midday,

which is still pretty bad considering i get disconnected every 30 min or so. at

night it feels like im on a dialup connection (nyc here).

any help before i switch internet providers?

thanks

I'm paying for 3meg and have the same problem. Have spent hours on the phone with tec. Support over the several months with no improvement. When I first got Verizon I had a very slow speed all the time, after hours on the phone complaining they got the speed up , at least during the day, still slows down in afternoon and evening. I think they have over sold their service, ie, too many customers fro their equipment to handle. I had bridgemax before I got Verizon and I have too say as bad as Verizon is, it's still works a lot better than bridgemax did, at least for me.
