Recently purchased a Westell 7500 gateway, an upgrade from an old westell 6100 modem. Am trying to install the verizon software on a 2nd computer, to no avail. The gateway is setup & working fine on both computers. Tried to install the verizon software from my old original CD, but, of course, the modems under "install modem" section did not include the 7500 (the CD is 3 years old). Tried skipping past this part but could not install. Just spent over an hour on Live Chat & the technician could not install the software with remote assist. He suggested there was something wrong with Internet Explorer. Am using Vista on the computer that I can't install on, Explorer 7 & it is a 6 month old Dell laptop. Has anyone else had similiar problems or does anyone have some suggestions????????

You do not need that software.
If you really want to install it, I do not know for sure - but how about this:
Go to http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/verizon/
Downloads
Log-in as need be
?
[EDIT] I also found with Google with the keywords of verizon yahoo software, this
