network key

I purchased a new linksys wireless router to replace an older model. The transition was fine...my current laptop was recognized immedietely by the new router. I also have an older laptop, two years old, that I can't get an internet connection established with and it worked fine with the old router . The error message I receive is that I need to enter a network key to get into my network...the laptop does recognize the wireless network and vice versa but I haven't been able to reset or repair the password/key. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your key/password will be in your router. On the laptop that is already connected, access the router's GUI (this is usually at 192.168.1.1) and check your wireless settings. The password should be in there.
