My energy reader stopped getting readings about a month ago and I have not been able to get it back.  I a little nervous about troubleshooting something that is in my electrical box.  Suggestions?

If you had the reader installed professionally, then I would call the installer to have them check on their work.  Prior to that you should check to see that the reader is plugged into a working outlet and that it is showing as working in the system.

1. The reader will not transmit through the metal box.

2. Call a professional.

3.  Don't touch anything in the box that is metal.

4. Move the reader out of box and mount on wall & add it to the system again.

Thanks  It was installed by Instalnet as part of the original installation.  I will have to call them back.

Did you actually get this solved or was it just marked that way? I am having the same problem. If you found some way to make it start reading again I would be interested. Thanks.
