When I first set up my Home Monitoring camera, I Was able to set up a movement trip to receord area and the camera would record 30-second bits of video.  Something has been updated of changed in some fashion that the camera no longer records automatically.  I have tried deleting the original set-up and setting it up again, and to no avail, no recording.

 

Any help or suggestions?

  1. Make sure that in the Camera's motion is on.
  2. Uncheck the "Motion Detected" option boxes under the "Notification" tab.
  3. Save your settings.
  4. Create a Mode for that camera.
  5. Select a Trigger and an Action.
  6. Select a Mode Type.
  7. Check the box under "Notification Settings", email or text.
  8. Save the Mode.

That should be it.

 

If it is still giving you trouble, turn off the gateway, wait five (5) minutes and turn it back on. It will take a few minutes to reboot (just 5 to 10 minutes). Then see if it works.

 

If all of this fails, call Verizon HM&C Tech Support.
