FIOS and Actiontec and DHCP/IP Address Distribution gets Reset periodically

I have some windows boxes and printers and media boxes that have static ip addresses.

I have setup my verizon actiontec router to do DHCP and do IP Address Distribution from 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.99

and everything works fine.

and then sometime, like a few months later, something whacks my router and the IP Address Distribution gets wiped out, and the router starts handing out IIP addresses that conflict with my static ip boxes and everything slows to a crawl.

I have had to re-enter the  IP Address Distribution settings about 4 times over last year.

what is up?????

#1 You need to have the Starting IP Address that the router starts to handle out is 192.168.1.100 and the Ending IP Address at 192.168.1.254 as I think I heard/read the TV units have to start at .100

#2 If you do not have FIOS TV too, then consider getting your own RJ-45 WAN port router and putting Verizon's equipment into bridge mode.
