I noticed that I could access my router's login page from outside my home network from apparently anyway on the internet. How can I configure the router so that isn't possible?
That seems like a big security risk especially if standard practice is to install the router and leave it with the factory defaults.

From the main page of the router select Firewall Settings
Then Chooose Remote Administration
Under Allow Incoming WAN Access to Web-Management
Make sure all options are unchecked
This should prevent anyone on Internet accessing your router login.

they ship with admin as username and the SN of your router.
so not as big a risk considering they need your SN off the sticker of your router, but I would not leave it open either.
