Anoying Calls

Hope someone can help me on how to stop anoying incoming calls from promoters,sales,etc etc.also receive calls and then hung up. Will appreciate any sugestions if you have had the same experience.

I tried the verizon company their suggestion was to suscribe to a service "call intercept" for $7 extra a month, I don't think that's the only choice.

You can register your number at the national do not call registry. It won't eliminate all unwanted calls, but it reduces them quite a bit. Here is the link;
