This morning, I received a robocall from a phony IRS number stating that I owe money to the IRS and that I must pay within 7 days. I know it is a scam so I just hung up. I then logged into Myaccount on FIOS Digital Voice and scrolled through "Calls and Messages" to find the number in order to "Block" it. However, the number is not in the call log. It does show up on my CallerID device as "Unavailable" , "Unknown Number". Why wouldn't FIOS Digital Voice enter the same information ( "Unavailable" , "Unknown Number") into my Incoming Call Log? If it did that, I would know the number was "not blockable" and thus not waste any more time trying to block it.
