I went through the process to check on the availability of caller ID displaying on my TV. It said it was not available even though I was told it was available when I signed up for FIOS service. When will it be available?
there are some features that won't work with caller ID on tv, so I think that is distinctive ring, and I think they sometimes have problems doing caller ID on tv if you brought your number from another provider. you may want to double check by opening a live chat or calling them at 1 800 VERIZON.
it's generally available for all customers, but there are a couple issues like described above.
